I have been singing since I was 15 mostly in bands and, through the 70s and 80s, mainly rock. I've recorded 3 albums with the Swiss/English band - Sergeant in mid 80s (the first 2 albums, 'Sergeant' & 'Streetwise', have just been re-issued by Stormspell Records in California). I sang on one album with Forcefield with Cozy Powell, Neil Murray, Ray Fenwick & Mo Foster. I've made 2 albums with Paul Sinden 'Turn it Up' & 'Mean Business'. Now & Then Records issued them as one complete album 'Passion Play'.

ROY SMITH - GUITAR

Plays guitar. A bit like Ziggy....Originating from and still living within spitting distance of Paul Kossoff’s Temple Fortune home and originally fuelled by radio 1 hits of the late 60’s in the back of a sunshine heated mark 1 Ford Cortina, (thems woz the days), Roy latched onto the Beatles and then Wishbone Ash, with travels together with Camel (the Bardens’ Camel), Joni Mitchell, Be Bop Deluxe, Allan Holdsworth, Bruford, UK, Michael Schenker, Gary Moore,Thin Lizzy (a sustaining huge love for the BAD REPUTATION LP!), FREE, Bad Company, Kate Bush, Dave Gilmour, oh the list is endless and you can hear all these artists somewhere in the melting pot of his playing...amongst all this influence you can hear Roy’s own call....which is coincidentally remarkably similar to that of Paul Kossoff.

On the stage, Roy bears a resemblance to Kossoff, .... every note is critical to the proper functioning of the universe, and every gig is the most important gig in history.
